DAMNIT.  Imp Assault looks awesome to Ranes.  Definitely going to have to try and make some sweet terrain and a modular battle board for that one.  Scale it out so that you can use the game tiles and can make own tiles with more 3d and detailed elements to them.  You can find futurish Urban terrains sometimes, carboard buildigns and such.  Imagine a couple scout walkers and stormtrooper squads trying to clear a few urban blocks of rebels.  So glad FFG has got the ball rolling on SW Minis.  The WizKids attempts and CGs were nice and earlier SW pewter minis for token representation but nothing like this is materializing to be.

Now I'm going to have to buy paints again!  ARRRGGGHHH!

Fortunately for me.... I have some paints already from my dabblings in Malifaux.  As far as the 3d terrain....  There's a Kickstarter soon from these guys http://happyseppuku.com/ that is going to be molds for bake clay 3d terrain.  They may do some sci-fi.  I have their 'base stamps' and they're actually pretty cool.  Their teaser:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6givzjGVcQ

I still have some of the WEG pewter minis floating around.  I actually have a rebel trooper sitting (bare metal) on my painting table right now.

Hey guys, wanted to introduce you to our son Lucas. He was born Sunday the 16th



Inside the delivery room, there was a TV, and on that TV.. was a Star Wars marathon. Our son Lucas was born just after Empire Strike Back, about an hour after the "I am your father" scene in Cloud City. I shit you not!



Anyway, he's a healthy dude born on the small side but really strong - lifts his head and looks around just a few days after being born. More photos to come
