Debt is part of the economic system we use in the world today. Not all debt is bad.
We have too much debt. Or rather, we don't produce/export nearly enough compared to what we import.
But a lot of the problem comes from having a once in a century economic crisis.
How does every one forget that Obama took office when:
- we had a HUGE FUCKING DEFICIT already
- we were at war in two countries with series resources committed
- we had just had a near world economy ending critical moment that literally could have made paper money useless the world over! And this happened for combination of reasons, partly because there was too much of a push from congress to get home loans made (Democrats), but more so because Bush took down a bunch of regulations that allowed wall street to invent exotic instruments to trade that obscured the real value of assets (shit house loans get packaged in this instrument which uses exotic math, rated AAA reliable and sold off to 401k funds). This was the kicker because now because the debt (mortgages) was easy to sell off because it could be sold on wall street as a safe bet. So what happens? Billions of businesses open just to sell mortgages. And since it was so easy to sell on the debt (the mortgage) and make a profit in the process, they would give a loan to ANYONE. It didn't matter how risky, because in the end it ended up on wall street as AAA rated investment, which the hundrds of millions of working people's 401ks then bought up as standard practice as traditionally thats a really sound investment. Only now they managed to stuff in shit assets that were volatile and never getting paid back. And when that house of cards collapsed it took with it a huge amount of our countries real wealth!
So enough of this OBAMA the socialist created all our problems. Republic, Democrat, etc, any president would have struggled with the situation on the USA's plate. Maybe they would have done marginally better or worse. But our problems would still be staring us in the face. And the healthcare system, regardless of what you think about obama care, HAS to be reformed or it will SINK the country with all that DEBT you hate so much! All Romney can say is he's going to repeal what Obama did. And that obama is bad. He never once gave any clear plan, just vague bullshit like "im going to create jobs, jobs are good! Obama hates creating jobs!" or "obama isnt tough on iran. Ill be tougher. Really, Im gong to be tough. Oh what will I do differently? Oh nothing, I'd do exactly what obama has done. But I'd do it TOUGHER, see." What a fucking toss pot. Romney just taps into the american illusion that all of us will EVENTUALLY be rich, so higher taxes on rich are bad because it will be a tax on me. Which is bullshit. Social mobility is limited and you ain't getting rich unless you are an exceptionally hard working person who also gets a very lucky break at just the right moment.
So poo on you!
