What were aol forums called
« on: September 12, 2019, 08:27:54 PM »
Does anyone know what they were called? Forums? Message boards? Newsgroup? I want to find screenshots of how they used to look.

I did save my storyline to a floppy disk. I colored the label in pink and black sharpie which I thought was super hip. It was the template of what Socially Acceptable Monsters eventually became.

That disk was also labeled in my AOL handle, SyReNsCrEaM. Cuz we were emo cool with the stylizing pre-millennium.

I liked the old one better ;p   but this is ok for now to keep us truckin while you work on our homebrew =)

i could care less about a similary to old aol looks myself, but I think something more generic like an entire starfield back-background for the main frame (whatever the terminology is) would be fitting if possible.
