SRILUUR - HIGH ORBIT
The Royal XIV exited hyperspace over Sriluur. Located towards the periphery of Hutt Space, it was a relatively simple world that the Weequay called home. With its vast amounts of raw minerals, residents of this planet could easily find a job working for the Si'Klaata Cartel, who maintained a de facto monopoly over the world as a pseudo-government corporation established by the Hutts. Additional employment opportunities were scarce, which is a big reason why many Weequay turned to the life of a pirate or mercenary, as those were the only ways to get offworld with any freedom.

"This system is as good as any at this point," commented Bergs.

"It's quiet, and we could leverage the import and export trade to our advantage," replied Talia. "Not to mention, the Cartel doesn't handle interdictions at all."

"The Cartel?" asked Gunnar. "What's that?"

"The Hutts maintain control over local municipalities with a system of cartels. Government services are mostly privatized, as this favors business. In this part of Hutt Space, the Si'Klaata Cartel runs the show. The lack of orbital interdiction is made up for with a strict licensing system on the planet's surface... and yes, you can even buy a license to engage in piracy."

"So it's one big 'legal' black market, then?" asked Bergs.

"You got it," replied Talia.

Gunnar seemed positive. "Good, we can use this to our advantage. With our new R2-unit, we can do some transponder scrubbing and pick up some licenses to operate in Hutt Space. Right now, the best place to hide is in plain sight."

Everyone else nodded in agreement.

MEIRM CITY
The Royal XIV quickly made its way to the southern hemisphere of Sriluur, where the planet's only fresh water ocean was located, and as such one of the planet's largest settlements. After making a touchdown on a barren landing platform, the crew stepped out and took a look around.

"There's not much here. Population is only around 100,000 here in this city alone," said Talia, the Hutt Space expert.

"I like it. It's quiet," said Bergs.

"Well then, let's be sure to get you a nice retirement home by the seaside," joked Gunnar.

The team shared a laugh, and then began walking into Meirm City's interior.
