Update: 9/17/2013


The mail server is set up so email notifications should be going back out again.


All that's left is some tweaking and optimizing so the site runs as fast as possible. Family is visiting though so I won't get to that for a week or so!

Update!

The domain name change has processed, and all things should be working. Again, please post anything you notice gone wrong here - images not loading, dead pages, etc. I will set up the emailing features when I have time, so still for now you won't get email notices when someone sends you a PM or posts in a thread you are following.

Hey everyone,

It was a long day... but it's done.

Mostly. You will need to re-select an avatar from the list if you had one before that wasn't custom. Otherwise things are looking good.

I am waiting to link up the domain name with the new server, so when that happens it might be on the fritz abit if you are coming to the site through the domain and not the IP address.

Some requests:

* Prune your private messages (you can go to the My Messages link, and choose "prune messages" there - delete the older ones please this helps out!

* Keep an eye out for any errors, glitches, etc. There are bound to be some!

Tested to see if the transfer from Word to the forum still does the ? thingy and it does. When I try to upload my profile pic, it gives me an error message. I tried the URL and no dice. Not busting your balls as I love it overall but you did tell us to let you know.

I get error as well for same thing.


Also there's a minor misspelling and punctuation error on the folder/thread path line, just under the main user tool bar near top of page. .

Nice, I like the new look, too.  Even if it is all empire.    

As for the comma...  it's not wrong, it's the oxford comma.  I usually prefer them, for clarity.

As for the title bar, its easy to change so its really just temporary for now. I need a good logo for the forum (where vaders head is) id anyone is into that. Then I can rotate the banner image...

You won't get email notifications when you get PMs etc until the transfer completes and I can set up the email server!

No, there is no way to do this. Doing much change to the design will take time. Perhaps in the future I can work on an alternate coloring, but it isn't going to be changing for the next month or two. Sorry to disappoint
