    As scans were received, the three squadrons of TIE Fighters dove into the atmosphere and began strafing runs over the base. It would be several days of strafing before all defenses of the planet were neutralized, but there were no surface defenses capable of preventing it from happening. The lone base would be beaten into obscurity and forgotten very soon, paving the way for an Imperial outpost.

The Dark Fleet

    Myrkr was falling fast to the Imperial assault. TIE Fighters had already reduced the base shield to nothing and were now working against the armor of the small fortress. Two shuttles filled with troops deployed from the Shyrack and moved into orbit. The planet would be restored to the Empire very soon, and the base commander who had had the audacity to think he could be a minor warlord with Myrkr under his rule would hang. With their objective complete, the two capital ships moved away from the planet and entered hyperspace for another world.

The Dark Fleet

    The base cracked and crumbled around the troops as the TIE Fighters completed their final run against the facility. They began to prey on the fleeing ground vehicles, sending each one to a molten grave. As the final troops were rounded up and executed, the Imperial flag was secured over the rubble. Myrkr now belonged to Lord Algoz.
