Excited to see the Storylines blasting!!! I'm getting mine going as well.

Thanks to everyone so far for getting your technology requests in and working with me for feedback and balancing issues. We should have full technology lists up by next week, and soon after that the rules if all goes well.

It's been a slow process, but I'd like to encourage everyone to get in some good SL'ing before we blow each other up.

FYI -- GCWIII will be set approximately 1 year AFTER the Battle of Coruscant (c. 9 ABY for you canon timekeepers).

You can use this current time with your SLs to "fill in the gaps" before we launch.

I was going to ask what the gap was like.  1 year seems about perfect for consolidation of power and transition for the federation.

Is there any chance we could get that mentioned "planet draft" a rolling?  Conceivably, a lot of our background and fill in story(ies) could have a lot to do with what planets we acquire, and explaining for them come "start up".  I just don't want to seem too presumptuous or have my tail stepped on when I'm posting stories or content pertinent to worlds that tie them to Hutts but I don't actually officially own yet

At the same time....  While I'd like to see the draft going, I'd like to see the rules that will affect the planetary options, etc, first so I know what I'm picking.

I will have to agree with Ranes on this one Jay. Greg and I want to get the rules up before we do the draft, so everybody knows what they're getting into.

Planetary Features greatly affect what the system is actually capable of, including its defenses and such.


But in the meantime, I don't see any reason why we can't get the ball partially rolling. Stay tuned.
