KALARBA / HOSK STATION
Located on the border between the Colonies and the Middle Rim, along the Corellian Run hyperspace route, Kalarba has been prized as a strategic system since the days of the Old Republic. It was the Old Republic which had in fact completely transformed Kalarba's moon into Hosk Station - a climate-controlled moon-megalopolis not unlike Nar Shaddaa. During the Clone Wars, it came under the protection of the Trade Federation, but since the instantiation of the Galactic Empire it declared neutrality.

Lord Admiral Hale's modernization program for Hosk Station was finally seeing some results: the station internal facilities had finally been overhauled to the point where Tempest Squadron could now use the facility as both an Operations Center and Strategic Command Base. It was a glorious day for Tempest Squadron.
