Jason eyed the battle carefully out of the view port. Although the radars and computers offered a far more detailed look, nothing could match seeing it with ones own eyes. Small flashes erupted all around as the various craft were felled by their engagements. His eyes darted back and forth quickly, his mind calculating some equation no computer in the galaxy could hope to match. Suddenly he turned from the nose angrily yelling at his bridge crew.
"Where is the shuttle group from the Remonda?"
"Scanning now sir."
"What do you mean scanning?!"
"Sir, they report launching too early, the shuttles were unable to meet up with the rest of the attack group."
He slammed his fist down on a near by console cursing under his breath.
"Damned fool republic bastards! I told him I needed a trained crew with that ship! What is this rabble!?!"
He turned looking back out of the view port, his eyes searching desperately, his brain recalculating.
"Report the enemy fleet is decimating our fighter forces and pulling back toooo..... sector B-3 sir."
"Admiral, perhaps we should consider a withdrawl. We find ourselves outnumbered, outgunned, and fighting from an inferior position."
"Admiral Halsey, while I value you as both an executive officer and a friend, if you speak again on this issue you will find yourself floating home. My fleet has never lost a battle and it is not about to start with this petty excuse for an emperor."
"With all due respect, as your friend, you cant fight a sith with conventional weaponry."
Jason picked up the near by computer console, tearing it from its base and hurling it across the bridge.
"I AM NOT ENTERTAINING THIS CONVERSATION!"
He stood in front of the view port panting heavily, a fire showing through in his eyes. Around him his crew sat in a state of near shock as their always calm and collected commander visibly lost his cool to the situation. Noticing this he quickly straightened up, brushing off his uniform lightly and turning back to the view of space.
"You are correct Admiral Halsey, we can not face off conventionally, so perhaps its time to invent some new tactics."
"Sir?"
"Order the shuttles to hold position in B-1, we will pick them up on the way."
"Are you sure we can dock them?"
"We're not docking them Admiral, we are simply picking them up and using our ship to generate the speed they're engines can not. Just tell them to hover in the fighter bay and be ready to head back out as soon as we stop. Order the Remonda to continue to orbit the planet through a high orbit and begin a continuous transmission through the system of all battle details, I dont want our friends being blind when they come out of hyperspace. Perhaps that ship can yet be useful even if too dumbfounded to fight."
