NOTES: Whilst there are many Imperial Academies throughout the Galaxy, none is more respected and prestigious than the one on Carida. When the Empire transitioned away from clones, Carida was the first academy to take in volunteers, and so its training program became the standard. By focusing more on propaganda and psychological conditioning instead of actual combat techniques, the Carida Academy was able to churn out soldiers whose loyalty to the Empire inspired fearlessness in battle. While some generals complained that this produced less efficient warriors, other generals realized that sheer numbers of relentless troopers storming the front lines of battlefields was more valuable than a bunch of skiddish sharpshooters. Needless to say, after the Battle of Jakku, the Carida Academy's program shifted from quantity to quality, and so commanders will be able to recruit better-trained infantry.
