Yes, unfortunately I glanced at things early at work and it mistook starjunx as a spam account. :(

I forgot all about this... but now I have remembered.

Took some time to read through some old posts and that was a neat trip through memory lane seeing some names of old friends not forgotten (clone wars is probably what made me look this up :)).  Good to see you again Jay, we used to be friends... then not so much.  That was definitely my bad bro.  I can’t remember most of the names I used, I remember starjunx being my first AOL name, later on I remember Kain Check and some variation of Verak.  Hard to believe it was all 20 years ago now.

What Up Nick!  Good to see ya.  lol, no worries.   We are both victims in that one haha.  All in all it is a hilarious story if you ask me now.  Strangely or maybe appropriately, every time sim life and real life collides it produces quite a tale.

But are you here to reminisce or are you intending to maybe dive in and write/sim some time?

Probably just to say hey.  I have 5 year old twins and a 3 year old that pretty much take all the free time I have, plus 3 teenagers that really only want money and food and rides.  I bought Breath of the Wild about 5 months ago and I've literally played it twice because the kids keep stealing my switch to play Fortnite lol.

Jesus. I have a 5 and 3 year old and can't imagine having more than that. Although an in law told me once that once you have two you might as well have four or five as your life is taken over totally anyway.

I also struggle to have any time, it is pretty much impossible. Part of why we have been trying to find a way to streamline the game and make it easy to pick up and put down for stretches.

My only question is out of 6 dependants why aren't any of them simming? Haha. But in seriousness roger that and feel free to create a thread in the Ongoing folder and spin a yarn at your own pace if ya still bleed SW and ya ever feel like it.

Im close to breaking 100hrs on Uboat (since February) and recently surpassed 2700hrs on Empire Total War (since 2010).  I am equal parts proud and ashamed of that one.

Yeah, having the third little one didn't change my (lack of) sleeping habits very much, but at least I finally got a boy!  Twins are... an experience... identical twin girls, they are almost never apart, sleep or awake.  The three teenagers are pretty low maintenance since they prefer to do their own thing these days (18, 16, 13, all girls), and given their english grades this would not be the thing for them lol.  My boy would be a prime candidate though, he likes the Clone Wars and Rebels shows, and is always asking me to turn Darth Vader on my second monitor.  Just need to wait until he can read and write haha.

I tend to stick to more single-player games these days, so I can pause or quit anytime.  Cities Skylines, Path of Exile, Darkest Dungeon, and Crusader Kings got some time in the last year I think.  Eve Online has gotten a ton of time over the last 8ish years, but not so much lately.  I bought the switch because I thought it would be easier to game with a handheld, but like I said, the kids tend to steal it a lot.

Yesterday I was 12, New Republic cruisers exited hyperspace near Corellia (or wherever), and for literally thousands of us, hearing the news of that was truly *massive*, terrifying, and exciting. Let's get something going in the AE or AJ timeline again.

Yeah, that was so much fun... getting everyone online and posting ASAP. It was also a huge mess as almost every battle got paused, mostly because of the rules around attacking/moving every hour, but having to wait until your enemy responded or 24 hs passed, leading to people getting into knots taking turns, etc. That and all the sly cheating and rule abuse!
