    The Molten exited hyperspace in the black of deep space near Rendili. Valia Dontruun, a Chagrian female bounty hunter hired by Lieutenant Commander Mors, had been tasked with sniffing out illegal activity in the surrounding systems.

    Valia Dotruun read over the scan results of Rendili's surrounding space. They were negative for anything out of the ordinary. Satisfied, she sent the information to her employer and readied the Molten for a hyperspace jump. Corellia would be her next stop. As she pressed a lever forward on the console, the stars around her stretched into lines of light.

VIPER-series PROBE DROID

    A probe droid exited hyperspace in the recently scanned system of Rendili. The droid then moved to the orbital ring in preparation for its decent to the surface below, where it would begin scanning for enemy instillation.

    The small droid proceeded into the atmosphere and prepared for impact.

    The shell of the probe droid struck the surface with the strength of a small meteor. From the remains of the craft, the droid emerged and began to scan the area for threats. Satisfied, the unit commenced with its detailed survey of the planet.

    Finding nothing of importance, the probe returned to its parent craft and transmitted the data to command. The pod closed around the bot and lifted itself on repulsors. The Probe Droid then began its tedious three day process of leaving the system.

    The Shade arrived in the ship-building system of Rendili and proceeded to the orbital ring along the trajectory safely established by the scanning team before it. Newly promoted Commander Mors sat aboard, ready to begin his next EXPANSION MISSION here. He sat nurviously at the back of the shuttle, knowing that his recent promotion, with so few successes to show for it, meant that someone of higher rank than him had most likely met Lord Vader's icy grasp and been snuffed out. He would have to work hard and fast to keep his life.

    The Shade begins its approach as night becomes day on the surface of Rendili. Commander Mors begins transmitting the plans for a depot to the waiting contractors below.

    The Shade touched down on the surface of Rendili, where contractors were already beginning to lay the foundation of a new fleet depot. Mors checked his holopad to get updates on how his growing task force was doing. Pleased that things were falling back on schedule, he returned the pad to his coat pocket and headed for the temporary office that had been established before his arrival.
