Captain Praelyn stood proudly before the viewport on the Red Wolf, recently refurbished and looking better than ever. Under the command of a lesser officer, it would have taken years to bring Admiral Krell's vision to life. But now, in just eight months' time, there it was. Large. Dark. And frigidly beautiful.
"How's that for glory, Zaarin?" Praelyn said aloud to himself.1 He smirked as he continued gazing at the enormous ship in the distance, datapad in hand. Still docked at Shipyard B (which, like Shipyard A, was essentially a very long bar capable of docking up to 10 capital ships on either side) the massive ship was truly a work of art. The Empire had had its share of Super Star Destroyers, and every Imperial warlord from Zsinj to Kaine either has or has had at least one in his possession. But this one--this one was different.
Though technically still under construction, the sight of it was already breathtaking. Coming in at nineteen kilometers long, every detail of the ship, from its overdrive system to its shield generators, was simply immaculate.
Praelyn looked down as he lifted the datapad until it was just about level with his breast pocket.
<< Captain Praelyn to Admiral Krell. The ship is ready. It will be delivered in less than a week's time. >>
He lowered the datapad and peered through the viewport again. There she was.
The Empress's Hand.

1. A reference to Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin and the Zaarin Insurrection. Zaarin's flagship was the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Glory.
