   No sooner had Admiral Steelhammer made quick repairs to his defenses did the Imperial forces return - this time in a full-fledged Imperial-class Star Destroyer. Suddenly things weren't looking too good for the future employment opportunities of the Outer Rim Coalition, and so Admiral Steelhammer opened a channel to the Imperial Fleet.

   < You tell your boss, I ain't gonna have no Imperial crime lord come muscle me outta my business! That of course was last week... now it seems the situation has changed. So I'll tell you what.    With their units falling left and right, the Outer Rim Coalition fought back knowing these would be their final moments under the current management. Meanwhile, the CEO of the Vergesso Mining Company began shredding sensitive documents and purging datapads, as did the rest of the staff. The ORC Research, Engineering, & Design ("RED") Division also began incinerating hard drives and other files, hoping that their soon-to-be-capturers wouldn't gain a new tactical advantage. The last piece of RED Hardware that remained was the Beautiful Queen itself, which was an acceptable loss, even though it would give the Maw Installation yet another piece of technology to reverse engineer for mass production. Admiral Steelhammer regretfully gave his last orders as commanding officer of the Outer Rim Coalition, although via a private and secure communications channel he sent his resume to the ISD Serpentor, in hopes that he could find future employment with the nefarious Lord Baron Szymon.

   With space defenses vanquished and the majority of the drifting disabled ships captured, the Star Destroyer Serpentor moved closer in on the largest of the drifting planetoids, but prevented by the treacherous dense fields of floating rock surrounding it couldn't get close enough for a bombardment to aid in the ensuing mission conducted by her various support craft.

   As the giant metal beast hovered in high orbit of the planetoid, Serpentor's accompaniment conducted a more precise bombardment from the atmosphere, a slow deliberate process to wear down their fortifications and allow the Imperial Army itself to strike at the fearsome armored ORC Space Marines.

   While fate unfolded slowly, the floundering flagship of the Coalition was drawn in near the hulking Serpentor and suspended over it's largest hangar bay as boarding operations commenced. . .

   . . .the Beautiful Queen's corridors were choked with strewn bodies. Blaster scars, pock marks and an occasional still smoldering sore painted a portrait of chaos across the walls and floors of the entire interior.  For every several Imperial Fleet Troopers lay a heavily armored Space Marine, their bulky power-armor battle suits torn in any number of locations, exposed circuitry emitting intermittent shocks and zaps.

  Huddled around the exterior of the bridge area, and separated by a double thick reinforced fibrous-steel door, a few dozen of the usual charcoal grey and black clad Imperial Fleet Troopers sat anxiously waiting as their commander parlayed from a distance with the few remaining of the fearsome ORC Space Marines and their leader, Admiral Steelhammer on the other side.

  "This is Alixondor, Stilhommer!  It is over, submit and be presented to Lord Szymon!  Resist and you shall meet your end here by my hand!" the commanding officer of the Serpentor barked in to a com-device on the wall.

  A few moments of dead static followed before the defeated Admiral came across,

  "If Szymon is to be my judge then so be it. . ." he answered back somberly.

  Moments afterwards, his voice rang out across the ship over the emergency address system, as well as across all broad communication waves throughout the system, received by anyone near Lybeya,

  "This is Steelhammer.  Brothers, for years together we've bled our enemies and bled ourselves.  You've fought with pride and honor today but my leadership has failed you. . .," he paused and took a breath before continuing in an almost forced tone, "I hereby order the surrender and dissolution of the Outer Rim Coalition.  Lay down your arms and spare yourselves Brothers,  there is livelihood abound!" he finished with a sort of unofficial motto the organization often invoked.

   In the immediate after math of the chaotic two wave attack and devastation wrought on both sides, dozens of small ships began buzzing about sweeping up the clutter, shuttling personnel, material and debris to it's rightful place as a more benign dance of repair, salvage, and organization began.

   The battered Star Destroyer Serpentor cleared the drifting field of mangled star ships and disappeared in a glint to Hyperspace with the captured Frigate Beautiful Queen in tow. . .

   Charged from the lop sided and predictable yet fulfilling triumph over the fleeting Rebel Alliance forces at Endor, the mighty Imperial Star Destroyers Serpentor, flagship of the Spice Imperium, and Audacity- the stalwart guardian of Kessel, emerged from hyperspace on the outskirts of the Lybeya star system, well outside of the several disc oriented space rock clusters that made up the Vergesso Asteroid Belt.  The derelict Mon Calamari Cruiser Freedom still hovering beneath the two wedged starcruisers, suspended from going a drift only by the strong pull of their tractor beams.

   Just months ago, Admiral Ishfan Szymon's forces had purged the system of the squatting Outer Rim Coalition and returned to it's traditional owners, the Tenloss Syndicate.  Leading the first wave of the assault were the famed Tenloss Mercenaries, the Hussars.  The unanticipated strength of the ORC's defenses massacred them.  Tenloss Leadership, the mysterious elusive Triad, had taken personal insult at the setback and held Szymon, both a Tenloss Princep (Baron) and a self-elevated Warlord risen from low level Admiral in the Imperial Navy, responsible.  Despite Admiral Szymon's overwhelming military force, there was much to be feared in garnering contempt of the Triad as military intervention could never answer all threats.  Relenting to the Triad's emissary, one of his prized starships, the Victory Star Destroyer Devorantum had been relinquished to them to smooth over the emergent rift.  The Tenloss Triad was beyond satisfied with their new acquisition, and turned their attention to other Princeps across the galaxy to exploit in a surge of consolidation.

  Szymon had taken the slight even more personal however.  Now confident and mustered, he's returned to Vergesso to reclaim his ship. . .(tbc)

. . .on the edge of Vergesso, a mighty quartet of large warships hovered about each other, a swath of tiny support craft buzzing about conducting some form of operation.

   Aboard the Star Destroyer Devorantum, Szymon inspected the prisoners as they were marched away passing in front of him.  All sorts of aliens from various corners of the galaxy who served the Tenloss.  They'd be vetted and some would come to serve amicably, others would work the Spice Mines.  Until recently, Szymon himself drew a good degree of influence and clout from his position in the Syndicate, but the Triad's manipulation months ago at Kessel had been a most unwelcome intrusion.  It made little more sense now to defy them than it did then, only the neutralization of the Rebel Alliance made it a fathomable move.  With the near totality of his loyalists assembled, he descended upon the Tenloss hive of Vergesso and in an ultimatum of force was returned the Victory Star Destroyer Devorantum, seized previously by the Triad.

    A stormtrooper commander approached, "Admiral!  All sectors have been covered by initial and secondary sweeps.  Commencing our final round Sir!" he reported while standing tall and stoic.

    "Excellent Commander, deploy two companies of your men to support the skeleton crew.  The ship is to return to Kessel for a thorough cleansing and redeployment.  See to it personally," Ishfan acknowledged him.

    Eeeeeventually, the soiree breaks up and the cruiser all enter hyperspace. . .
