A Betrayal And A Premise
Pachanga Izissi Shahala Vedo Anjiliac Atirue Pazda Desilijic Tiure
"[ ]" = as understood between Hutts
Behind the zealously guarded doors and within the secretive walls and dimly torch-lit spaces of the Chamber of Elders, a very young few-hundred year old Hutt remained bowed in absolute reverence of his Grand Elders, all but one of whom were relaxed in recessed comfortable shadowed couch seatings. A single light shown brightly upon the bulbous wrinkled and folded mass entirety of the eldest and highest ranking most repsected living member of all Hutt culture, Vedo Anjiliac. A silvery protocol droid stood nearby to convey it's master's words. A smaller light was cast only upon the upper bust of the supplicated youngling, Pachanga Izissi.
"[MASTER ANJILIAC! YOUR MIGHTY STATURE INSPIRES ME AND I SLITHER UPON MY MEAGER BELLY BEFORE YOU!]", the dark green glossy and diminutive Hutt bellowed a slurred ass kissing address the other.
The patriarch simply lifted a finger with his head tilted slightly towards his metallic servant.
"[Rise Lord Pachanga and present your findings to his eternal majesty of morbidness, Vedo Anjiliac! Grandest Elder of the Hutts!]" the droid loudly called out which echoed throughout the stone hall, answered by a round of praising jeers and awes from the darkness shrouded audience of lesser Hutt Elders.
The young minion Hutt rose to a prone stance for his kind, seated in a slight rest upon the 'foot' of his own body's tail end bent to a near spring with midsection and 'neck' region fully extended with belly inflated. The tallest posture a Hutt tended to adopt. He eagerly proceeded to share his revelations,
"Mooocheeekkaa Granee Vuud Weedo un eedeek gouja! [Magnificent Grand Lord Vedo and esteemed Elders!].."
"..[your insightfully genius suspicions have proven to be true! The hairless ape Szymon has betrayed us. The Princess passed through Xim's Eye and across our own borders unmolested. My sources have definitively confirmed this.].."
his further reportings were drowned out by a screeching chorus of cursing and hissing from numerous Hutts seated in the chambers. Vedo barely turned his head back towards the assembly, garnering a deafening silence. A single Hutt broke the momentary emptiness while bellowing his sentiments, another light popping up and highlighting the individual as he, Pazda Desilijic Tiure, spoke,
"[The Desilijic clan abhors this affront to our overwhelming generosity, this is a smear upon Hutt authority! Those who quarter Jabba's murderer are no better than the foul piglet herself! He must be punished!] GRANEE KAJIDIC!!" he declared with uproar of support from the darkened assembly.
Vedo now raised his arm with great effort, again receiving the silence he'd demanded. This time in more disciplined fashion from his fellow ruling Hutts.
Pachanga took advantage of the lull to offer his final words, "[Szymon has disappeared and been absent from his nest for over a month..]"
Vedo narrowed his ancient eyes. Nearly two-thousand years of galactic history had passed before them as he approached the age of a bi-millenial, old even for a Hutt. His days were numbered, but the destiny of the Hutt Clans was eternally set forth upon the stars long ago. Twenty-five thousand years in the past a vast Hutt Interstellar Empire ruled over a huge swath of the galaxy. With the rise of human-kind from the Core and with them the Republic, Hutt dominance and influence shrank to the corner of the galaxy known as Hutt Space today. Though stretching in to the vast galactic underworld they'd come to be renown for, the core ambitions of the various Hutt Clans or Kajidics always lay in total power and they never forgot their true place in the galactic hierarchy. It had been thousands of years since the Hutts mustered an army and set loose in open conflict upon foes. Half a century since the Empire had requisitioned operations at the Spice Mines of Kessel. Less than a year since Szymon came before the Grand Council paying homage and pledging allegiance. But now the circumstances align in a long unfolding charade and again the Hutts are pushed and provoked to action, a motive long brewing in the quiet murmurings of private Hutt discussions for centuries.
Vedo spoke with great stress, the assembly hanging on his mutterings, "Hu-Huh-Hukkak dobra, i-i-Ichi. [Assemble the Army, To War.]"
"OOOOO!!!" "RAAAAAAA!!!!!" the loudest chorus of cheers and boisterous yelling of the gathering now erupted from every corner of the chamber.
Vedo panted heavily, having exerted great expenses of energy to speak. Pachanga smirked slyly across the full width of his face. Szymon's hold of Kessel would soon disintegrate before the fury of the angered Hutts.
