This story is going to function as a prelude of sorts to our galaxy.
It's going to feature full-scale combat between an ISD-II and a handful of Republic ships. This battle is "dress rehearsal" in that we're going to see how the rules in action actually pan out. Observations and comments will be welcomed. Just to keep things simple, only Hop and I will be handling the COMBAT.
BUT... if you would also like to participate in the STORY itself, please speak up!
The outline is as follows:
1. ISD-II shows up at Brentaal, begins to land troops.
2. Brentaal sends distress signal. NR Task Force shows up.
3. Space battle begins.
4. NR lands a small ground force during the space battle to fight the Imperial invasion.
5. Space battle goes sideways, ISD-II gets knocked out and capsizes, resulting in a crash landing on the planet surface.
6. Groud battle ensues, Imperial forces are able to push back.
7. NR Task Force pulls out.
8. Imperial Forces succeed in the overthrow and install Jae Garrik as the new Independent Imperial Governor of Brentaal (which explains why it's Neutral in our game).
This story is both a "one shot" and a "historical event" within our internal timeline, so anyone is more than welcome to either integrate their primary characters into the fold, or create a new one just for this event.
