We of course don't aim to match Sy and Med's longevity, so it's more of a campaign with inter-meddling parties each player/writer takes up and a pre-determined end point for the over-arching plot that results in resolution of the campaign. You can essentially take up any character(s) or angle imaginable that could fit in to the time, setting and plot.
There's tons of info on the background story/plot devices in the boards themselves in the form of snazzy visuals and text story mission guides and a nice concise "rule" thread that mostly amounts to common sense of co-op writing interaction. Honor simming you could say.
