Description: Resting place of the Sith Lords Vodal Kressh and Septimius Kah'rae--among many other notables--and their disciples. Over the years, Athiss became somewhat of a rival to Korriban in terms of devotion and status among the council of long dead Sith Lords. Numerous Sith temples and other constructions abound, though none as large and towering as what can sometimes be found on Korriban. Athiss has been the site of several clashes between Jedi and Dark Jedi, between one Sith Lord and another, and at times has challenged the authority of Korriban. At present, there are dark forces that remain on both planets that are watching Lord Severus with an eye to the future. Perhaps at last the Two Worlds can be united, and the collective might of the Sith can be restored...

::Lord Severus stood with his hands close to his face... some kind of Sith ritual... as he listened closely to the spirit of Lord Kah'rae.::

"It is true. Not only shall Skywalker serve you. The Empire in its entirety. The galaxy in its entirety. The great lords of Korriban and Athiss will unite around you. Even now, the forces that follow you, that taunt you... they fear you. In four thousand years, I have never seen anything like it..."

Severus knelt to one knee and lowered his arms to his side, having finished the ritual. Opening his eyes, he beheld the blue aura of Lord Kah'rae, who in his spirit form appeared two or three times larger than he had in life. His eyes fell to the dust rolling around near the grey brick floor of the temple like a fog.

"Marka Ragnos, Exar Kun, myself included... for one reason or another, they have all come to recognize your abilities." He paused for a moment. "Take this amulet, and join it with the one you received from Master Er-Ilsen. When the time is right, you know what has to be done."

"As I have foreseen, Master."

"You are the Master now, Lord Severus. We shall speak again... when the Emperor returns. Farewell."

And vanishing before him, swirls of blue and black raced around the room until all that was left was a glowing purple amulet on a mantle in the center. Standing, Lord Severus stepped forward and grasped the amulet in his hand.

::The VSD's Knight Terror and Spitifre exit hyperspace in the vicinity of Athiss and proceed towards one of the moons, initiating comscans while en route. Support craft and Nightsister transports RED-1 and RED-2 also exit and escort them in.::

Captain Mraeka stared out of the Star Destroyer's viewport as the shuttle carrying Lord Severus and Lady Adeenu departed at lightspeed. After several hours of orbiting the moon, Lady Adeenu had gone to the surface alone to meet the Dark Lord in person and declare her allegiance. Some time later, they emerged from Kah'rae's temple together with one thing in mind: the Council.

NPC Summary:

1. VSD's Knight Terror and the Spitfire exited hyperspace and proceeded to one of the moons.
2. Support craft and Nightsister transports RED-1 and RED-2 also exited hyperspace and proceeded to the moon.
3. The shuttle carrying Lord Severus and Lady Adeenu entered hyperspace.

1. Captain Rogero's forces that fought with TI at Dathomir were delivered to the surface of Athiss (DARC Trooper regiments GAMMA-1 and GAMMA-2, AT-ST KAPPA-1).

::Captain Mraeka's war room aboard the VSD Knight Terror (NPC). In attendance are Captain Mraeka, Captain Gavlo of the VSD Corrupter, as well as numerous other captains and senior officers.::

After discussing some other matters and line items related to Athiss, Mraeka turned the room's attention to more pressing matters. "That brings us to our next subject, gentleman. Security here in the Outer Rim."

The long table that separated them was lit up by the blue overhead lights mixed with red and black reflections from a handful of personal datapads.

"Ysanne Isard... Ardus Kaine and the Pentastar Alignment... the emerging threat of the Hapes Consortium. The list goes on. We're working on a trade agreement as well as an MoU with Lord Admiral Hale and possibly other factions of the Imperial Remnant. But in the meantime..."

He glanced around the room long enough to look each of them in the eye. "In the meantime, Terrors of the Imperium is to unilaterally establish the Outer Rim Security Zone. The Planetary Defense Forces in each system included in the zone, including capital ships, are to be built up immediately. And in addition to the PDF's is a core fleet of 15 Victory-class Star Destroyers that will patrol the zone, enforce TI ordinances, and secure our foothold in the Outer Rim. Other systems under our control, such as Byss, fall outside the scope of the zone and will be managed separately by the Admiral. The patrol fleet is expected to be delivered any day now to Athiss. And accompanying the patrol fleet, my good fellows... will be our first Super Star Destroyer in some time--the Empress's Hand."

A rotating hologram of the ship projected above the table, and it hit them like ten thousand proton torpedos all at once. Krell Heavy Industries had managed to keep Phase I of the Eclipse Project a secret from everyone. Perhaps due to the seriousness with which Captain Praelyn's employees took their jobs. Perhaps due to his zero tolerance policy. In any case, news of the delivery had them all thinking to themselves...
