ABOUT
The Imperial Remnant is more of a loose affiliation of sympathetic Imperial systems than it is a true heir to the Empire. It was formed in the aftermath of the Battle of Endor after it was clear a disagreement between Imperial High Command and the Council of Grand Moffs could not decide the proper order of succession or chain of command in the absence of both Darth Vader and the Emperor. Many high-ranking officials formally ceded from the "Galactic Empire" and decided to take matters into their own hands. Among them were six fleets: Pellaeon's Task Force comprised of former Death Squadron assets, Immortal Squadron of the Middle Rim, Hyperion Squadron of the Unknown Regions, Inferno Squadron of the Hydian Way, Scourge Squadron of Oversector Outer, and Rancor Squadron of the Inner Rim (under the control of Warlord Zsinj). Of these six, Death Squadron, Immortal Squadron, and Hyperion Squadron official joined forces and became what is now referred to as "the Imperial Remnant." After formally reinstating the Imperial Senate and removing all Govenors and Moffs from power, their mission is two-fold: expand and empower the Imperial Senate as a demonstration to the galaxy that the New Republic's way of government will never work.

Administration
Supreme Chancellor Lucidius Hale presides over the Imperial Senate and has complete control over the Remnant's bureaucracy. In order to preserve some separation of power, the Office of the Supreme Chancellor may only act in an advisory role to the Military. It is here where Grand Admiral Thrawn exercises complete authority over the Remnant Navy, and General Pellaeon over the Remnant Army.

The Treaty of Chandrila
The Imperial Triumvirate's rule became recognized by the Galactic Empire a year after the Battle of Endor when it became clear the Galactic Empire could not relinquish control to the Imperial Senate. Despite this, the Imperial Remnant and Galactic Empire have enjoyed peaceful coexistence as friendly rivals.

SISTERHOOD OF IMPERIAL SITH
In very recent history, a mysterious organization has emerged from the Unknown Regions - the Sisterhood of Imperial Sith. Their leader, Darth Hera, claims to have been a former apprentice-turned-lover of Emperor Palpatine, but was scorned once he began training and grooming Darth Maul. After confronting Palpatine and besting him in a lightsaber duel shortly before the Invasion of Naboo, she chose to spare him, for she realized that his destiny was soon at hand. Hera then became a nomad Sith, traveling the galaxy and looking for apprentices she could take in and give them a new life as a Sith. Empowered by a Force Vision of the Death of Palpatine, she patiently stayed in the shadows and bided her time until she and her Sith Sisters could strike. Being disenchanted with the concept of male rule, she sought out the Imperial Remnant on account of Pellaeon and Thrawn being women, but also because she was impressed with Hale's vision and ambition for the Imperial Senate. The Sisterhood of Imperial Sith now fight for the Imperial Remnant, in exchange for wealth and glory.

EXECUTIVE OPERATIONS
This is the branch of the Imperial Senate that handles all state-level business in the event Supreme Chancellor Hale is indisposed, to include intelligence, trade, and diplomacy.

Senator Trip Devereaux
Of the nine Senators in the Imperial Remnant, Trip Devereaux is the most cunning. During the Galactic Civil War, he crafted a network of spies and agents that was so massive that he was able to successfully muscle out both the Black Sun and Hutt Syndicate from the Braxant Sector. When the Imperial Remnant formed, he was able to easily secure a seat in the Senate, and quickly became the Director of Executive Operations soon after. He and his "Alpha Team" are often dispatched to settle various matters in Remnant space both overtly and covertly. He is often referred to by many as Hale's "right hand man."

Kilo Sierra 7
On the outside this ISB Detachment looks like a group of harmless Naval officers acting as Devereaux's personal staff, but they also double as an elite special operations unit.

Captain Quinton Harris
As an ISB agent in Devereaux's network during the Galactic Civil War, Harris went undercover as a smuggler in order to gain vital intelligence of the galactic underworld. There was even a period when he took many jobs for the benefit of the Rebellion - all for the sake of the mission. When the Imperial Remnant formed, he decided to resign his commission in order to keep his cover intact as a civilian.

K-2V3
"Tuvee" is Captain Harris' co-pilot and second officer. His programming was modified to give him more autonomy, as well as several algorithms for protocol duty.

DEATH WATCH
Any student of Mandalorian history knows that in times of great distress, clans of warriors form in order to bring about great change. During the Clone Wars, Death Watch fought for Mandalorian independence, but was overthrown by Darth Maul and soon fell into disarray. This current iteration of Death Watch have wholly committed to the realpolitik of the Imperial Remnant and fight with the hopes of bringing Mandalore into the Imperial Senate one day. The fact that one of their members is a sister of General Gilda Pellaeon may or may not have anything to do with this...

Crixus Lange
As a young boy during the Clone Wars, Crixus became enamored with the Republic war machine and felt that Mandalore deserved a place in the Republic - for afterall they had designed their entire military around Mandalorian tactics and technology. Once the Galactic Empire formed, and Mandalore remained independent, Crixus formed his own mercenary unit and began taking jobs for the Empire. In one mission, his team successfully killed a Jedi Master, and as a prize, he kept his lightsaber to use as his personal weapon for he believed the Jedi fought with honor and did not deserve his fate. As a student of martial arts, Crixus wields the lightsaber as naturally as any Force-user, and has even developed a knack for deflecting incoming blaster bolts.

Thule Barren
Thule got his codename for destroying an entire skyscraper with a single seismic charge because "he did the math" and found points where the explosion would create "fractals" and bring the whole building down. On top of his explosives experties, his tactical calculations consistently beat out droid predictions for risk and success. His mantra is: "With enough preparation and calculation, no shot is too far."

Jolee Cherise
Jolee earned her codename in the underworld of Coruscant, where for years she scrapped up a living as an enforcer-for-hire until she was found by Chief. She is an expert scout and likes to kill her marks up close.

Paul Vanderhaus
Paul runs point for Death Watch during assault missions, and is quick to respond - often with a sense of humor. He his fiercely loyal to Death Watch, but would also give his life for any Mandalorian anywhere. For this, his codename is from a beloved pack-animal creature native to Mandalore.

Hildegard Pellaeon
As the sister to none other than Gilda Pellaeon of the Imperial Triumvirate, Hilde's place in Death Watch is often questioned because of her competing loyalties. Regardless, she is one of the fiercest warriors in the galaxy and will gladly put anyone's assumption of her to test.
