At first glance just another massive belt of asteroids and rocky planetoids orbiting a stellar body, but closer inspection reveals a literal hive of activity and civilization. While many of the massive space boulders is nothing more than they appear, others are host to entire colonies of the native Verpine sentient insectoid species. The Verpine are hive minded people who are naturally gifted technological craftsmen. In the past they supported the Rebellion Against the Empire with their home systems resources and capabilities and today they are staunch supporters of the New Republic in the same manner.
