Are you saying I need to build a rolling app that works thusly?
You make a post. In the post URL there is a number ID, you copy this number.
You go to the dice app linked in the forum. You click "Play a Turn".
You paste in the number that ties the turn to a specific post.
You then add rolls with descriptions, for example:
- Click "+" symbol
- insert description "Squad Apha in D-3 attacks AT-ST in D6"
- select number of die and how many sides
- repeat for every attack
When finished, you click "Play turn".
The results are now locked.
On the forum, a footnote is added into your post that reflects the rolls and their descriptions in a nice way. It is not modifiable by you ro anyone. Its queried from the dice app directly.
