Hey I'm looking at all of you who have been around at some point in the last year.

GallPizi, Bishio, LordMaligan, RanesDsane, Shermy, etc ...

Would you be more likely to be willing/able to play a game more like trad simming where you just command 1 or 2 ships as part of a sim - not having to manage your own empire etc.. you just coordinate with teammates for battles with your ship and write stories, etc.

Just curious, if you are even reading this...

With my responsibilities at the moment, this is the only game I could play I think. And I think it is something we've overlooked by always assuming only 3-4 active players tops and having to go all-out faction-per-player... maybe we've been wrong.

Anyway I am curious.

Yes, to echo that point. The current game in the works "Flashpoint" is predicated on the idea of designating two people Team Captains so that everyone else who wants to play just has to cruise around with their small task force of capital ships... no management responsibilities beyond what you fly (those details will be handled by Team Captains).

I'd love to sim, but for me it's really become a time thing.  I simply don't have it right now and won't for the next year or so.  I'll have to continue to lurk for the moment.

I haven't logged on in a very long time. Got an e-mail from Severus and was like, "it's still alive?" I would might be interested in returning for some simpler simming. Time is spotty, but I do miss it.
