Zeltros is an opulent paradise world of calm oceans, warm sandy beaches, expansive tropical forests and lively upscale environments with its fair share of more questionable locales, all providing recreation, relaxation and indulgence for nearly all forms of mostly legitimate vice for the hungry beings of the galaxy. Hedonism was encouraged and part of the local social doctrine. It ishHome of the Zeltrons, a relatively amorous near human species with red, pink or purple shaded skin. They possessed potent natural pheromones effective on most human like species that ranged in effect from distracting to inebriating. The planet was never garrisoned by the Empire because of the native traits and overwhelming global party-like atmosphere.
A people naturally averse to oppressive rule and fundamentally embracing free love, the Zeltrons were never particularly favorable of the Empire, nor outwardly hostile towards it. They secretly supported the Alliance until after Endor when they openly declared and allowed their space to be used as a spring board for offensives Coreward. With the declaration of the New Republic, Zeltros was quick to endorse and apply for full member world status.
