Balmorra is an age old factory world with rugged terrain and a highly polluted atmosphere. Entire swaths of continental area are wastelands of bygone industrial eras while newer ones continuously emerge in their place. With weapons generally being the most profitable industrial business, the Balmorrans learned to excel at it. Their superior manufacturing quality is always a long sought asset. Under Imperial Occupatioin, their factories were put to use exclusive for Imperial machinery at a standardized low government rate. The Balmorrans then always longed for freedom from the yoke of Imperial rule, yearning for a free market to offer their goods and welcomed their liberation by the New Republic.
