Sublight Movement

Sublight movement, or movement at a planetary system, happens on the Sublight Space Grid (pictured below). Units may move one space every 12 hours prior to firing weapons offensively.

[ 2 ][ 1 ][ P ]

Space 2 represents a system’s fringes beyond the gravity well. All ships must exit and enter hyperspace from Space 2; Space 1 represents the space in near vicinity to the planetary system; and Space P represents the planet, from the surface to high orbit. Capital ships and starfighters deploying troops or vehicles to the surface or engaging in any kind of bombardment must do so from the P space. Troops and vehicles cannot travel beyond the P space.

Entering/Exiting Hyperspace Limitations

Units may not exit and enter hyperspace in the same post. At least 12 hours must pass between the two actions.

Units that exit hyperspace may not move, but may fire weapons at any targets in range, deploy craft, and so on.
