Coruscant "Galactic Center" and capital of the Old Republic, the Galactic Empire, and the New Republic.  The world was an ecumonopolis, a planet-wide city.  The world was destroyed by the Dark Queen of the Hapan Empire, becoming a massive asteroid field, filled with ion storms and precious metals. -500 Republica -Hyperion Building -Galatea Suite -North Coruscant High

Coruscant Asteroid Field After the destruction of Coruscant, it became an area few if any traveled, a massive asteroid field filled with ion storms.  However, that also made it an idea place to hide, and PHAGE, the modified IG-100 MagnaGuard created a massive space platform from which to launch his assaults on the galaxy.  It also housed the droid fleet led by Alexander Winton that took place in the battle of Centerpoint Station. -Asteroid Field -Phage's Platform

Centerpoint Station
A massive facility in the deep space of the Corellian Sector, Centerpoint Station's origins were shrouded in mystery, and the device apparently helped form the sector.  After the formation of the Corellian Confederation, the facility was brought back online, using its unique gravity well/tractoring technology as a weapon.  The facility was later destroyed during the Battle of Centerpoint, when its short-range weapon was used to target an imperial ship - that then proceeded to ram into the station itself, causing the gravity well's energy to strike itself.

Ten years later, when Corellian joined the Republic, the remnants of the station were taken under the command of Republic engineers and scientists to study what remains of the device.

Ord Radama
Former Capital of the Republic, after the destruction of Coruscant, and prior to its location on Chandaar. Ord Radama was also home to a secret facility that housed the consciousness of the Trade Federation Viceroy Medivh, until that facility was self-destructed to keep its datafiles out of reach of Alexander Winton.
