It's as pristine as freshly fallen snow. I hope the color scheme is acceptable, but if people object to it, there are other solutions. Like banning. ;)
I also wonder: do people have the [Light] and [Dark] options under the "Force Point" numbers to the left of the posts? That's supposed to be just a fun little Karma system, totally meaningless, but I just don't know if it's only showing up for me.

I can see the Light/Dark options on others as well. I clicked Dark for Card and it gave him a negative point. Sorry, Card. You rule. The white is diff but I dig. Also I cannot post images the same way I could before but that's not important. What's important is that we're here. Together. Being awesome.

OK, I'll try to figure out something with the images. What specifically is the problem?
I'm moving this Thursday through Saturday, so I'm just glad I was able to get everything up before then. That said, my response times will be slow until next week.

I'm moving this Thursday through Saturday, so I'm just glad I was able to get everything up before then. That said, my response times will be slow until next week.
By that I mean I used to be able to copy the image text from its properties into a <img src=" "> formula and it would magically appear in the post. I tried this morn to do the same for The Four on my Intro VE post but it just showed up as the code itself, not the image. No biggie but I assume its a programming thing and so over my head its ridiculous.

Alrighty, I'll give it a look-see and try to figure it out. It might actually just be a matter of checking or unchecking a box in the admin center.

By all means, if anyone wants to supply better graphics, logos, and icons for the forum, please do so. The current logo is a little amateurish and took me a couple hours using Paint.net -- I love freeware :). But if we could do better, I'm all for it.

By the way, in law school, for those who were curious, we have about 50-100 pages of small-font textbook reading each day. It's fun. Really :-)

Me too! It's weird being a newb. It's kind of refreshing to all start off on an even playing field. When I first got to the previous forum I was so intimidated and busted my ass to get up there. One day we'll all reclaim our glory but for now its nice to begin anew in a period of redesign. I just strive for at least some continuity and familiarity.
Good luck on the small font reading. That does not sound good for the eyes. And you changed your avatar. No more droids? :D

Hahaha! Nah, it's all safe and sound on my removeable HD. This is about the final chapter of VE with the spin-off rights going to the survivor. From there it can go anywhere. Just have to get there which is half the fun! Wheeee!

Try using the BBcode (http://) - tends to work better.

I'm aware of this, but for some reason it only seems to be a Firefox issue. When I run the site using IE, the symbols are gone. The symbols only appear when I edit the index template; but if I don't, we don't get a chat button in the menu.
