Title: warhammer 40k
Post by: Starjunx on July 13, 2022, 12:26:18 AM
just out of curiosity, anyone else into warhammer 40k?  ill be 40 this year and i never got into it until recently, but have been aware of its existence since before star wars simming to be honest. ive been enjoying some audiobooks at work lately and wondering if you guys/gals have some recommendations?

i have listened to:

eisenhorn xenos and malleus:  first was excellent, malleus less good.. not sure if i want to continue the series...

infinite and the divine:  excellent

twice dead king ruin/reign:  enjoyed, hope there is a third.

brutal kunnin:  good, but orcs are annoying to listen to

ghazkhull thrakka prophet of the waaaaaagghhhh!!:  better than burtal kunnin

nightlord trilogy:  i frequently forgot the main characters are straight up murderers because talos is such a boss

edit:

forgot fabius bile primogenitor:  intend to listen to more, first one was good.

and beliarius cawl: the great work:  was mediocre.

Not super familiar with it but Space Orcs are pretty fucking cool.  I like them goofy steampunkish walkers (mechs) they have

I was in to traditional WH miniatures ages ago but anymore I only paint Malifaux Gremlins.  Love them little hillbillys!

agree, those are sweet.  i dont want to play the tabletop game even a little.. but i find the idea of painting the miniatures to be really cool. too expensive a hobby tho.
