Thrawn, originally a creation of Timothy Zahn some years after Endor.  Filoni brought Thrawn back into canon in Star Wars: Rebels, pre-dating Yavin.

I have been holding off to binge watch these but I may need to find time to dig in. I also need to watch more Rebels. I think I watched the first 2-3 seasons some years ago...

Okay, so I broke down and watched it. I like that it is niche, nodding to the larger story that we know happening outside it, but still exploring areas and aspects of the galaxy we do not. At least from a new canon perspective.

Thoughts on Episode 2:06, and the return of the familiar face?

Also - is this thread spoilers assumed, or spoiler free, because it's hard to talk about without revealing what we are talking about.

I dig it. Favreau has enough respect to not make it cheap.

Yeah. I cried. It connected something I felt about SW from my childhood, like that tingle up your spine and swell emotion that got me right in the feels.

We all connect to the mythos in different ways. We're all nerds and passionate about something.

For a lot of us..

Ugh, we get it, you are so hardcore. Why don't you conjure up a storyline to go with that sentiment?

Also, can we just make this who thread spoiler-alert, instead of hiding every post?

Are you shitting me?!!!!!!

I just watched last 3 sodes of S2.  Wow.. just wow.  All together, every nuance has been great of this show.  Jon Favreau is clearly divinely inspired.

I refrained from dogging the Final 3 but damn, the entire universe is experiencing collective climax and relief with this entry. That finish..  It's definitely one of those moments that is peak brain chemical reward from being a lifelong devoted fan of this type of thing.  I gotta go change my pants.

Just finished. So happy. I hope all of whats coming down the pipe is more Mando-Rogue One and less like 7-9 episodes... also a series about obiwan and early vader?

a character we always knew existed, but never got to see.  if the new shows/movies bring even half of that, i will be most pleased.
