KALARBA / HOSK STATION
Located on the border between the Colonies and the Middle Rim, along the Corellian Run hyperspace route, Kalarba has been prized as a strategic system since the days of the Old Republic. It was the Old Republic which had in fact completely transformed Kalarba's moon into Hosk Station - a climate-controlled moon-megalopolis not unlike Nar Shaddaa. During the Clone Wars, it came under the protection of the Trade Federation, but since the instantiation of the Galactic Empire it declared neutrality.
