2. Example combat interaction. Formal rules write-up is pending, but the gist is that it will be a two-post system. In the first post, players declare actions and roll dice, and in the second post, players apply those dice rolls. Enemy units will have static values.

POST 1
1. Performance Dice + Weapon Dice + Bonuses = Attack Rating
2. Fires 2 Lasers at Black 1. Rolled 8d6+2 : 6, 5, 3, 5, 6, 4, 3, 2 + 2, total 36
3. Fires 2 Lasers at Black 2. Rolled 8d6+2 : 2, 1, 1, 6, 6, 1, 3, 5 + 2, total 27
4. Fires 1 Torpedoes at Black 3. Rolled 7d6+1 : 6, 2, 2, 6, 5, 3, 2 + 1, total 27

6. If Attack Rating > Defense Rating, then 1 HIT is scored for each weapon. If Attack Rating is < Defense Rating, then the defender gets to attack you in the 2nd post. Apply damage accordingly.

POST 2
1. If a HIT was scored, then apply damage.
2. If a MISS, then defender hits you back.
3. TIE Fighter counter-attack damage = 1 Point.
