Anyone want to join me in the old Star Wars private chat room on AOL?

There are no forums or private messages, but you can still create chat rooms, and the SWSF website sure looks good surrounded by all that AOL finesse ;)

Someone download it and join me. AOL Desktop Gold is free for 30 days and then only $5\month after that if you don't cancel. There's practically no one in any of the chat rooms, but if a few of us signed up we could get the old Star Wars private chat room going again ;)

  AOL??  Hold on guys, I think i hear my beeper, fax machine and landline all going off at the same time.  Is the Noid still rep-ing Dominos?  TMNT is still a good movie franchise right?


  Sev is taking nostalgia so far I might just have to start taking my medicine through tin foil / pop can pipes again. =D

My nerdiest SWSF moment - excusing myself from dinner with my family to attend the "wedding" of Steve and...Jess(?) in a chat room. To circumvent getting kicked off I had a phone jack splitter in my room. Why have to choose between nerding the hell out and juicy gossip from friends? So much time on our hands back then.

  I may have you beat, my most disgusting AOL SWSF moment was when I did an Ewok sim.  We had about 4-5 of us at peak that chat RPed as 'Woks chattering in jibberish.

  I'm still up for a single planet Ewok sim where the 'Woks battle Imperial patrols on Endor in the DSII construction days.  8-)
