Okay so its 'done enough' but ugly.
https://gnfisher.github.io/swsf-grid-react/
You can click on a unit to see its details very ugly above the grid, you can drag and drop it in places where the move is valid.
I need to put all units and their speed/turns per turn into this still but you can fuck around with it using VSD, ISD, ISD2, RAF, etc to see how it works.
You can click EXPORT at the bottom when you're all done making moves and get a text file you can copy and paste into your battle post at the end, so the next player can grab it and plug it in and make their moves this way as well.
Todo:
- Add a way to make more turns if you run out of moves but can still rotate
- Add all of the units with accurate speed/turns
-
I am still working on this FYI but ill get accurate units inputted and post here their abbreviations etc today if possible if not tomorrow morning.
This DOES NOT plot star fighters at the moment. Just capital ships and platforms.

Whats formula for Location entering? I see only ability/directions to enter ships names at moments.
I'm probably just stupid but none of it works for me. Using Chrome. I enter "ISD Paladin" and tells me no valid heading. I tried ISD, RAF and VSD tags.
Also it's a bit overwhelming aesthetically for the dialog entry box to be so huge covering everything when it slides down. If it could be scaled down a tad it'd be easier to use also.

Its in the box there an example
GRIDSPACE>HEADING: UNIT-TYPE Name
A>E: ISD Bigballs
TRANSIT>N: RAF Shitbanger
Heading is cardinal (NSEW)

AHhhh. K yeah Im just stupid ;)
Still the huge dialog box is scary =)
Also there's no letters/marks on my squares so I have no idea what space is what..
Just tried dragging/movement. Very cool! Good stuff man.

Yeah the whole thing needs to be made more pretty, but for now I figure it matters less what grid space as its all exported and you can quickly see units that are in your range that you may want to attack...
Future versions will be sexier.

I can make it smaller. Will be in the rounds of updates for the cosmetic stuff.
