Mygeeto is locked in an ice age that has turned the planet into a giant crystalline glacial mass but with widely non-uniform terrain. The long cooled internal fires of the world left behind precious stones and gems in the crust and mantle, specifically Nova and Lasing crystals, drawing the mining and wealth interests of the neighboring Muun InterGalactic Banking Clan. Muunilinst has dominated Mygeeto for most of it's modern history, with the native Lurmen being relegated to an essentially slave class status while the Muun took over their world. Only a small handful of cities exist on Mygeeto to offer shelter from the frigid polar conditions, drawing power from generators using the native crystals.
